"Salt & curry" 6"x6" oil on Ampersand gessobord

Sold

After many days and hours of fretting and pulling my hair out I finally decided what this next series is going to be.   Are you ready?   Jars and shakers.   I'm not sure how it will pan out but I'm going to give it a try while I let my hair grow back in.

These are almost exactly the colors I painted the master bedroom here in Arizona! The walls are the terra cotta color and the woodwork is a more greyed out version of the green. I find it to be such a pleasing combination. In your painting, I LOVE the bright spot ion the curry and the highlight streak below it. Ths shadow colors are also awesome. I like the slope on the salt too. Well, I could go on and on. this is a charming painting.

Great color and such a strong graphic design. Love it.

Great start! Beautiful depiction of the glass in the two objects. It's interesting to me that you used grays in the glass of the salt shaker, and yellow for the curry container. But of course, that's what you saw, and it looks spot on!
