I'm surrounded! 6"x6" oil on panel

Can't you hear them all twittering and squealing around the hem of my skirt.    I'm surrounded!
I could not resist putting these red things together.  The size difference is fun.


Today I attended a fabulous demonstration by Debbie Shannon on marbleizing paper at the Kentucky Art and Craft.   It was like magic!  Of course I forgot my camera but I photographed some of her paper I bought.  See the pictures below.  It is so amazing to see how she creates this beautiful paper.  She has only been working on it for 10 years!  Doesn't it look like fabric!  
The last picture was a double marbling.

Very interesting post. I like your painting, and the bit about marbling was fascinating. Don't you just love learning new techniques? Gets the imagination buzzing.Your little red pitcher is a great prop by the way...
